At IMHR, we believe that research is the future of mental health and care. Since our founding in 2001, IMHR has given millions of dollars in research grants to nearly 50 scientists in Arizona who are paving the way for innovation and improvement, and those grants then incur larger pools of funding on the national level to the tune of $21 million dollars.
Each day, there are thousands of dedicated, brilliant scientists investigating the way forward, who are striving to improve the outlooks and treatment options for the millions of people afflicted with mental illnesses.
As a part of our mission to support research and surge the field forward, IMHR is now accepting your nominations for phenomenal researchers who you believe deserve recognition and funding for their work! The IMHR Prize is just one way that we are honoring and providing desperately needed grants to Arizona’s best and brightest minds in mental health research. The $5,000 prize and plaque denoting the award will be issued at a gala event in May.
