By demonstrating that local support exists, and it does, we'll be able to gain additional research funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other federal and private out-of-state sources. As a society, we benefit from the research. As a state, we benefit from the millions of dollars brought in to the local economy.
Funds raised by these generous contributors enable us to begin to recruit and develop teams of scientists and clinical investigators, supporting existing research in Arizona that focuses on child, adolescent, and adult mental health, brain disease and injury, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
Making a donation to IMHR will support its mission to accelerate the understanding, treatment and ultimately the prevention of diseases of the brain.
