IMHR’s Mission
IMHR’s mission is to partner with Arizona researchers and direct care providers in order to support broad-based, innovative mental health research.
IMHR’s Vision
Founded in 2001, the IMHR is the only statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to mental health research in the United States.
The vision of IMHR is advancing solutions to Arizona families in the areas of mental illnesses and well-being throughout their lifespans. Working with our scientists and clinical partners, IMHR will integrate, align, and increase research by:
- Providing seed grants to promising scientists
- Recruiting talented scientists to the state of Arizona
- Unlocking larger sources of funds for research
- Partnering with clinicians to impact patients and their families through educational programs
Located in the Phoenix area, the Institute has collaborated with and provided grants to scientists and clinicians at:
