Mark Landy, CPA

Mark is a retired certified public accountant.  Before recently retiring, he was a principal with Miller, Allen & Co., P.C. for more than thirty years.  Mark was appointed to a five year term on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy by the Governor, and served as its president, treasurer and secretary.  Mark was Chairman of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, and also served as the Society’s treasurer.  Mark was honored as a life member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Mark has served as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Governing Council, and currently serves as chair of the Nonprofit and Governmental Sub-group of the Institute’s Technical Standards Subcommittee. In addition to his professional activities, Mark is also active in community service where he has served on the board of directors of numerous nonprofit organizations.  Mark currently serves as the treasurer of the Desert Botanical Garden, treasurer of Lifewell Behavioral Wellness, and is on the board of directors of the Desert Botanical Garden Foundation, Institute of Mental Health Research, and Epicenter.  Mark also serves on the audit committee of the American Public Garden Association, Maricopa County Community College District, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix.  Mark is a native of Phoenix and a graduate of the University of Arizona.
